Stupid Cancer Road Trip '13
Young adults, a largely unknown group in the war on cancer, account for 72,000 new diagnoses each year; one every 8 minutes. SCRT '13 is a cross-country grassroots campaign raising awareness that young adults in their teens, 20s and 30s can and do get cancer—and that Stupid Cancer, a nonprofit organization, is here to help.
Drivers Kenny Kane and John Sabia will rack up an estimated 4,500 miles across the US, making stops along the way in major markets to host special events, visit cancer centers and connect with the local cancer community.
